Back in the Swing of Things

Alright, guys. I think I'm through the worst of it. I felt pretty good on Saturday, but I took the opportunity to rest all day before going back to work. Then on Sunday my fever returned and I felt horrid again. But today I feel pretty much back on track despite a little bit of a cough. I can handle that, though.

I posted Friday's strip today, and I'll try to post another twofer on Wednesday. That should get us all caught up on things around here. I appreciate everyone's patience while I recovered from my near-deadly illness.

In other news, the Litterbox Chronicles is back in first place in the Zuda competition! But the race is very close, so make sure to go vote for LBC if you haven't already! There's only a week left in the competition (the last day of the contest is Monday, March 31)! If you've already voted, why not tell your friends and family members to check it out, too? You could even blog about it! That would be extremely rad! Thanks for all the support!

- Wes

I do appreciate all the support LBC has received this month

Hey Wes, that's great about LBC, but I have a question... if it wins, and you get that Zuda contract...does YHT live on? God, I hope so. That'd be TWO servings of Wesness.

Yes, YHT will live on. :)

Wow! I honestly thought Litterbox was a goner once it lost first place, and it'd live on in a respectable second place.

Congrats on the comeback!!! =)

digital strip, indeed.
it's kinda like when my darling wife and i watch espn and she yells, "take yer shirt off!!" when erin andrews reports. i smile when she does that. and when she yells, "get off the field!" when holly rowe reports. i like it when she does that, too. makes me feel like she's watching out for me.

Sorry about the rediculous multipost :S I blame the horrible internet speed at work today.
Really sorry about that.

So glad you're feeling better. Had my own little episode last week as well. Very glad to hear Litterbox is back in first place. You're almost there! Just another week to go.

Digging the heck out of the current storyline in YHT. You better darn well not give up on it. I will hunt you down. That's a promise.

Today's strip was well worth the wait! That was hilarious. Thanks for making my day!

Good luck with LBC! I will be alerting everyone I know! Both of them.

They BROKE UP over that?! Now I think Steve's a jerk = (

Man, Steve's reason is weak sauce. I'll be very disappointed if he turns out to be this self-centered. She's better off without him in that case.

I totally agree with the previous two comments... Steve's reason is not anywhere near good enough to break up with Emaline. Like I said before, he should look at her, realize she's grown up a lot since then and respect her that much more.

Seems like Omar won with things the way they are now...

'ehh, I like cat comics, and I like LBC. But I just like YHT way way way more. It's got that little somthin' somthin' that LBC doesn't have.

Wes, you know you've done very well when so many people are defensive of your characters. ;) I kind of giggled to myself when I read today's comic and had a flash of anger at Steve, then remembered it's a comic. Ha! You're doing wonderfully keep up the great work! And I'm sure that they'll get back together... isn't that what most people do? Think about it and understand? Right? Please? Yes? *puppy eyes* Also, Go LBC!! :)

Steve is a total jerk... She showed her tits. Yeeah, she must be the antichrist. :D

Maybe the legend is true, we europeans are maybe far more open minded concerning this kind of stuff, because from the beginning of this story I think everyone is overreacting... he said it himself: SOFTCORE... It's not as if she got filmed while being banged by two big black dudes in the back of a hummer, for god sake. This whole "coeds" thing is nothing more than simply funny... :D

yapo, calm down; take a cold shower. you cant see this stuff on primetime television here. while i do not ever recall steve's nationality being discussed, im guessing hes american. that being said, dont expect him to play by europe's rules of decorum. perhaps the issue is less to do with the indiscretion itself and the hiding/lying. that would be the killer for me anyway.

the WOO! panel might be my favorite of all time. i laughed audibly and sara knew that the comic had finally posted.

Either way, I don't think this is the end of it. Steve's just being insecure due to an unexpected shock. He's got a good thing going with Em though, and when it wears off he'll come to his senses.

What I'm wondering is if Em will take him back at that point. Drama and suspense ensue! ;)

(personally, I hope she does... but you know me ;) )

@Josh

Don't worry I'm really calm. It's just a comic, I won't be angry at a fictional character. I read this coming for a year and I really love it, I never posted anything but I just found he was overreacting and felt like saying it. It doesn't mean I'd love my girlfriend to be seen in that kind of stuff, but still, I would end up laughing... As long as my friends don't see it... :D
