New Katie, New Brush
I bought a new Pentel brush pen and I decided to take it for a spin this evening. Not sure if I like it, but it was easier to use than I thought it would be.

I've been using a Pentel Color Brush Pen for a little while now, and I really dig it. Refills are kind of expensive, but what isn't anymore. BTW, my girlfriend loves Kate's new hairstyle. She says its realistic that a girl would change it up every now and again.
3:09 PMI was playing around with the pen a little more today. The more I use it the more I like it. There's something organic about the line that I really like. Maybe I could get that from my Faber-Castell pens, but the brush nib wears out really fast.
4:25 PMWhen you buy refills are they just cartridges? How long does the brush's tip typically last?

The refills I buy, you have to unscrew the brush off of the front and screw it on the cartridge. It was really convenient because the first time I bought them, the store didn't have any black with the brush tip, just the refills. So I bought a gray one w/tip and a black refill and just swapped the pen bodies. As for how long the tips last, I haven't had to replace one yet. Granted I have only really been using it for about six to eight months now though. But still, that's not too bad a time frame.
