I'm exhausted.
I finished a comic strip yesterday that I'm certain took me the longest of any comic strip I've ever drawn. I'm really trying to push myself artistically. Not just to rush through the drawing, but to sit back and see what else I can add visually. I used to think that adding a background environment wasn't always necessary (and sometimes it isn't), but I'm starting to think that sometimes the environment can help the joke be funnier. I don't know. Just a thought.
Today I have to help my parents do some moving and look through some more of my old crap. The only thing that I know I want to keep are my old drawings from elementary school and my Ghostbusters action figures. If I find my old drawings, I'll post a few up here. Maybe I'll re-draw them, too. You know . . . Mike Weiringo style. :)
