True Confession

If you haven't guessed already, the following Small Wonder cartoon was inspired by the recent Viper publication of Josh Howard's aptly-named book, Josh Howard Presents Sasquatch.

As a kid, I would read or watch anything having to do with Bigfoot, UFOs, Nessie, and/or the Bermuda Triangle. Soaked it right up. And it HAD to be true. I mean, Charles Burlitz wouldn't publish it if it weren't, right? ... right?

By the way, this comic references a monster seen in a certain, creepy tv series from the 70s.

Comics Coast-to-Coast

There's a new podcast in town. Check out Comics Coast-to-Coast, also available through iTunes.

Hosted by Brian, Tom, and Justin, it's a podcast by and for web cartoonists, struggling cartoonists, and all people who love comics -- with the occasional geek movie talk thrown in. My favorite segment is Comic Strip Theatre, where a selected webcomic is treated to a dramatic reading.

In an act of full disclosure, this week's Comics Coast-to-Coast was kind enough to mention Small Wonder as its webcomic pick of the week -- maybe a little too kind. If I'm not mistaken, I think they referred to me as some kind of ... god?

Excuse me, I hear my family laughing in the background.
