Here in the land of Lincoln, there has been a big debate over the University of Illinois' mascot, Chief Illiniwek. Recently the school--with a little pressure from the NCAA--decided to retire the ol' Chief and are currently conducting a search for a new mascot.

I wait with baited breath for what the U of I mascot committee comes up with.
