State authorities and a representative of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention have just confirmed that an outbreak of a yet unnamed virus has spread throughout the White Mountain region of New Hampshire. Although no details of the virus itself were provided to the media, there were sporadic reports of various canine-related attacks on the human population prior to containment of the infected areas. And while this account has yet to be substantiated, one anonymous witness claiming to be calling from within the hot zone has stated that individuals who have come in contact with the virus have turned to cannibalism in the wake of what he described as "an epidemic of apocalyptic proportions."
