Joe Jefferson, a former pro boxer turned night guard for an aerospace manufacturer, was secretly chosen by his employer to be the test subject for a new super weapon being developed for the United States government. Kidnapped and experimented on, Joe eventually escapes to discover that he emits a pheromone that causes anyone around him to go mad with murderous rage. Finding it impossible to stay in one place for longer than five minutes, Joe hits the road in search for answers, only to meet a woman unaffected by his newfound abilities. Jody Curtis was born with anosmia, the inability to smell, and with her help, Joe Jefferson hopes to cure himself and find those responsible.

Part journalist and part fiction writer, Jason M. Burns made the leap into the comic book industry in 2004 after being approached to write a short story for Dead@17: Rough Cut, Volume 1. Since that time he has been working on a number of projects including the critically acclaimed releases The Expendable One, A Dummy’s Guide to Danger, and The Sleepy Truth, as well as the upcoming graphic novels Imaginary Friends: The Rise of Shift Valentine and Serpo. While he has been working regularly in comics, Burns has been concentrating on a career in Hollywood as well, writing and developing a number of projects for film and television.
Burns was born and raised in Massachusetts where he began his career as a journalist and public relations professional.
Armando M. Zanker is 26, lives in Puebla, Mexico, claims to be a graphic designer but in reality he just wastes his time drawing comics, illustrating books and occasionally animating. Every now and then also writes short fiction. Still refuses to get a real boring job. |
